-
Inspiration for pavilion was the intervention - the act of coming between things.
-
Specific numbers - 2500mmX2500mmX2500mm
-
Budget £500
-
Materials - Timber shelters used for years
-
Location - Orientated to the south pointing to the direction of the new campus
-
Number 1930 to be etched into the top of the arrow showing how many meters it is to the new building

The only problem we had with this design is that it looked like it would topple over when built so we had to find a way of not letting this happen.
We were split up and had to work in groups. The three main issues we addressed for this design is
1)The information point element
2)Health and safety particularly toppling over effect,
3)What could be done to minimise the bus stop effect of the proposal

This is the design we came up with, it stops the toppling over effect and also looks more appealing than the original design. A clear piece of plastic will be placed at the front of the pavilion as an information screen instead of it being on the arrow like the original design because this one doesn't have an arrow on it.

These are sketches of the new proposed Pavillion which is expected to be built on the 25th of January 2016
Handmade models of proposed designs made by classmate to replicate the sketch up designs below.
The first proposed design had lost its 'dynamism' so we held another group meeting to discuss what was wrong with the design and then came up with the second final design which is the more rounded model.
